WCE Reflections Entries 2018: VISUAL ARTS

FRIENDS - Zack L.

My heroes are Mario and Amy because we play together on the playground and have fun. I don't have to play with just me. They are my friends.

MUSICAL HERO - Ariella H.

Music can be a Hero that is around us everyday. Music makes me happy. Music can help others feel better when they are hurt of feeling bad. Music can help others be kind and love each other.

THE NICU NURSE HERO - Kyla E.

Nurses are my heroes because one saved my life. When I was born I was sick and could have died. A nurse realized I was super sick and sent me to the NICU to help me feel better. Nurses can help people who are very sick and save licvs, like she did for me. Nurses are heroes we see every day.

Me heroes don't have super powers, and aren't millionaires. They are normal peopl who live a normail life. For example, each member in a penguin family has a special job. The father has to sit on an egg in the freezing cold for months at a a time. While sitting there, starving, the mothe rpenguin goes to find food for the new baby penguin. This takes a lot of sacrifice and commitment. My parents are good examples to me, just like this penguin family. They sacrifice everything because they love me. My parents are my heroes, and always will be.

There are lots of heroes around me. Some heroes protect others. My Dad is my hero. He protects me. He is also a hero to other people because he serves in the military. I'm glad he can help other people too.

I see examples of heroes in my life every day. I took a picture of ducks because I think the mother duck is a hero to her babies. When the baby ducks follow the Mom they stay safe. The Mom will also take care of the babies by getting them food, sitting on the eggs, and teaching them. This is why baby ducks look up to their Mom as a hero.

A HERO IS..........

A hero can by many things. I see many heroes around me evrywhere I go. My little brother is a hero to me because he is, creative, loyal, brave, coraguse, kind, funny, and responsable. These are qualities that all heros have.

When you think of a hero you think of Superheroes but I think of the police, firemen, and nurses around me, They work hard for us every day. The firemen help us by putting out fires, protecting our homes. The police are brave to arrest criminals. Nurses and doctors are willing to help those who are sick and in pain, not a lot of people can do that. There are also every day heroes around us, teachers, the worker at McDonald's, your grandma, or even the kid sitting next to you. They are the real heroes, think about it.
